These suppositories definitely helped to dial down the pain, however they did not completely get rid of it, just made it more manageable. I ended up using 1 box for 1 period because I needed 2 suppositories at a time for optimal relief. Long term, that is pretty pricey. I would keep a box put away for those unbearable days, but I can't justify using them as my main source of pain control as a result of the price. I would love for AIMA to release an extra strength dose.
I'm a pelvic physical therapist and I've worked with many people facing severe pelvic pain, particularly during their periods. OVY is an easy and effective way to treat the worst of my endometriosis pain without the harsh side effects of a lot of medications (NSAIDS and narcotics). With OVY, I can get back to sleep or work without worrying that my stomach will ache or wondering if I can safely work/drive/function. I am thankful to have an option to treat my pain that is effective and without negative side effects.
My PT gave me one of the OVY because even after surgery I still have VERY painful periods. The suppository really helped with the tension due to the pain in my pelvic area. I was able to sleep that night which is a bit improvement for those days for me. I already got some more and hopefully I won’t need them very often but I’m glad it exists!

I have found these to be the best OTC suppository pain management option I’ve tried. It works equally as well as my 10mg diazepam suppository but lasts longer. It worked better than ketamine/baclofen suppository. It’s also very effective to insert vaginally 30-60 minutes before penetration. So thankful to have a data-backed product that I can use and recommend to others.
These suppositories are phenomenal. I have endometriosis and this is one of the most effective products that I have ever tried that effectively reduce and prevent severe pain. 100% recommend.

I cannot believe I have found something that is going to minimize my use of anti inflammatories. In approximately 20 minutes time, I felt the effects of OVY without the harsh reality of what NSAIDs are doing to my stomach lining. Pain decreased and I was able to carry on with my daily routine.

I very much enjoyed your product. I ordered more! I had surgery in May to remove a cyst, my destroyed left ovary, fallopian tubes, and endometriosis. My last period was the first official one since surgery. I woke up unable to practice yoga because of the pain, and I have a high pain tolerance. I used the suppository, and the pain was gone within 20 minutes. It was mild later in the day, but manageable. I felt like my cycle was heavier, but that could have been my circumstances. Either way, it helped tremendously. I was able to practice that afternoon.

Solved my problems
The extreme pain I experience from endometriosis makes my cycle nearly unbearable. Up to now, the only effective options were harsh prescription medications that came with nasty side effects (stomach pain, nausea, constipation, etc.). The OVY was easy to use and had excellent effect very quickly after use, providing complete pain relief for several hours. I would highly recommend this to anyone with period related pain.
I’ve been very grateful to use this for pelvic pain caused by multiple surgeries. It’s akin to taking ibuprofen (which as a person living with an IBD, this is an excellent alternative). This is a great other option to have on hand. I hope it will be available to more women as period pain are awful, and this works so much better than taking pills ever 4-6hrs
